Environmental information about Circular Cup 340 ml - Cream/Blue

The goal of rCUP is to do more with single-use coffee cups; all the mess that is created deserves a better second life. With this in mind, people started thinking about how this material could end up in a nice, sturdy cup. Instead of trying to separate paper and plastic from the cups (coffee cups have a plastic film for waterproofing), they hold the materials together and turn them into a strong polymer.

Recycled used coffee grounds
In collaboration with partners in the United Kingdom, used coffee from participating cafes is collected and dried. Once the coffee is in dry powder form, we can blend the coffee into a recycled polymer, usually recycled coffee cup lids. The aim of the project is to provide cafes and coffee chains with products made from their waste, from table tops to coasters and toilet roll holders! Adding value to the used coffee in the form of products increases demand and makes collection feasible.
