Environmental information about Fermentation Set - Kimchi

Fermentation is the conversion of organic material by bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Many well-known foods are created by fermentation. Consider, for example, coffee, cocoa, dry sausage, olives, cheese, yogurt, sauerkraut. With the RotPot you can season the dish to the right taste so that you enjoy it optimally.

Tasty, Healthy and Zero Food Waste
Home fermentations are not only very tasty, but are also packed with friendly lactic acid bacteria that can contribute to healthy intestinal flora. In addition, fermentation is a useful way to extend the shelf life of leftover vegetables and dairy products, thus preventing waste.

The story behind RotPot
RotPot is a creation of Sanne Zwart, the fermentation expert behind Keukenboeren Workshops. Years ago, Sanne became fascinated by the enormous possibilities and benefits of fermentation and her mission is to get everyone into fermenting.
RotPot is put together and packaged by employees who are at a distance from the labor market. To this end, we collaborate with a nearby sheltered workshop with a special HACCP department for food products. Where possible, the herbs and spices are of Dutch origin and sustainably grown. The materials are carefully chosen based on origin, with as little impact on the environment as possible and are suitable for long-term use.
